With the six meals, those are partnered with drinking eight glasses of water and eating lean meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs.

Why the diet works
As you may have read a couple of times above, carbohydrates are a no-no in this diet. Without having many carbohydrates in the system, the body will break down fats for energy instead. Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy in the body. People tend to gain weight when eating would be because they are consuming lots of carbohydrates daily. Too many carbohydrates will be stored as fat.
Downside of The Stillman Diet
If the diet does not permit vegetables then this would mean your body won’t be getting enough fiber. Fiber is what makes the person full immediately when consuming high numbers of it. Fewer carbohydrates mean less energy. This will probably take a toll on your body throughout the day since you won’t be energized too much to do different tasks.
