Having a healthy and thick hair can add to your fashion statement.
Skinny or chubby, stylish or not, dark skin or fair skin – those are not really important. One of the important things that a guy will notice is your hair. Sometimes you are worried about having thin hair but it is actually normal. Blame it on heredity, blame it on hormones, blame it on the passage of time, blame it on abuse.
We do so much on our hair that we do not think what will be the result. There is no problem to be conscious and think on how to look prettier, but do not do it too much. You will abuse it, and the result will be worst.
If you reach the age of 50, it will be a bit more alarming. A lot of people are suffering from hair loss. Hair extensions can be a big help but there are the best ways to add volume to your thin hair.
1. Change the parting of your thin hair
We all have a favorite place to part our hair since we are comfortable to see ourselves in that way. It is also where your hair falls naturally. But it can also give you a flat image. Try to flip your hair or part your hair in opposite way. Sometimes you do not need to do anything, just change your ways. This is the modelesque style, which is a little bit ’80s and VERY sexy.
2. Cut your hair in a correct length
Do you know that short hairstyles can give great volume to your thin hair? Having a long hairstyle can give a thin look to your hair. Short kind of hairstyle is easier much to arrange also. It is better to try something new. There’s nothing wrong in trying and be adventurous.
3. Use some rollers
Everybody forgets the use of hair rollers. But hair rollers are great! Unlike curling irons and flat irons, you do not need to do anything complicated; just roll it on your hair while you’re doing your makeup and 20 minutes later, you’ll have good hair volume. This is a great trick if your hair is already dry and it’s too late to build volume into your blow-dry.
4. Blow Dry your hair upside down
This is one of our common mistakes in using a hairdryer. Have you perfected your blow-dry technique? Do not worry—the best shortcut to a more voluminous and thick hair look blowout is just flipping your head upside down.
I know most of you does not know about it, but it is too easy to do. But it’s exactly how other expert hairstylists dry hair every time their customers get a haircut. (Then he finishes off my ends with a flat iron, for a “straight with volume” look.)
Do you know why these technique works are because, in upside down, your roots are automatically lifting off your scalp, which is how you want them to dry? This method is very useful and effective to get the hair about 90 percent dry, and after that do a final smoothing with a round brush.
Note: If you have bangs, always dry them right side up first!
5. Do not abuse your hair
It is really bad that you abuse your hair using a lot of hairstyle machines. Refrain or minimize in using it. Do not spoil yourself to use it every day, it will result from a bad condition of your hair. Some example devices I am talking about is hair iron, hair dryer, curling iron and straightening iron.
One factor also is not too much of using chemicals to your thin hair. Like coloring it every time or hair rebonding, it will quickly dry your hair. You can color your hair maybe once in 3 – 4 months – recommended by experts- if you want to try some styles. Then wash it by a natural hair shampoo:
